The HAA Coaching Group aim to run a number of workshops every year which give coaches in the county opportunities to learn and develop their skill set. These workshops also count as CPD for those coaches needing to achieve CPD points in order to renew their coaching licences.
If you would like to suggest or offer workshops, please contact us and let us know.
We all learn what needs to be taught to our beginner archers or indeed how to develop our existing archers but who teaches us to become better coaches?
This workshop will give you skills and knowledge to become a better coach by imparting the communication and teaching skills that are vital to getting the best out of your archers' training sessions whether that is on the shooting line or in a workshop. We will look at identifying different types of learner and how they learn, planning the perfect lesson and, more importantly, hints and tips to make your teaching session a thoroughly engaging and fun time for your learners.
There will be a £5 charge for this workshop to cover the costs of tea, coffee, biscuits and venue hire. Please pay on arrival. Please also bring pen/pencil/notepad for making your own notes.
Please contact email@example.com to book a space.
